Questions

What is OSCE World?

Timed OSCE stations you can sit on your own, whenever you want one. You take a history from a simulated patient who speaks out loud and only answers what you actually ask. When the time is up you present your summary, differential, investigations and plan, and the whole encounter comes back with an examiner-style report on how you handled it.

Who is it for?

Medical students from the early years through to finals, and doctors preparing for clinical exams. You set your level when you sign up: years 1 and 2, years 3 and 4, or final year, IMG and GP. The same station is marked more strictly the further along you are.

Is there a mobile app?

Everything already runs in your phone's browser, including speaking to the patient out loud, so there is nothing to install to practise between lectures. A dedicated app is on the way.

What support is available if I need help?

Use the form on this page and we will get back to you by email. If something is broken, tell us which station you were on and what happened, and it gets sorted faster.

Can a school or student society use it with a group?

Yes. A facilitator can set up a class, share a join code, then see how each member is getting on, leave them comments, and put the whole group into exam conditions. Send us a message and we will set it up with you.

What if I spot a mistake in a station?

We would rather know. Tell us which station it was and what looked wrong, and we will correct it. Feedback from people sitting the stations is the fastest way the library gets better.

Can I get a refund?

If a plan did not work as described, or something on our side stopped you using what you paid for, tell us and we will put it right. Stations you have already sat are not refundable, because the content is delivered as you use it.

Or just try it and see.

Two stations free, no credit card. Most questions answer themselves in ten minutes.
